Launched in 2023 by four founding faculties at the University of Toronto, the Collaborative Centre for Climate, Health & Sustainable Care was created to meet a growing need: a dedicated academic home to advance climate and sustainability research, education, and action for health and across health systems. As a multi-faculty unit, we bring together diverse expertise to generate knowledge, train future leaders, and support meaningful change in policy and practice.
The Collaborative Centre’s work is rooted in a shared commitment to build resilient, sustainable models of care and to protect the health of people and communities in a rapidly changing climate. We are very proud to share the progress of the Collaborative Centre for Climate, Health & Sustainable Care over the last 2.5 years.
