Asrar, recently published an article about how the growing overlap of wildfires, smoke, and extreme heat is creating a “triple threat” to public health as climate change makes these hazards more frequent and severe. It discusses how smoke and heat can compound one another to increase the risk of illness and then provides practical advice for reducing health risks during such extreme events.
