We are pleased to announce Fork in the Road: Moving Towards Sustainable Diets in Healthcare workshop at our 2026 Climate & Health Conference. Healthcare food systems have a unique opportunity to improve patient, community, and planetary health while supporting operational efficiency and financial sustainability. Registrants are invited to sample plant-based menu items prepared by a chef and interact in a workshop which will present experiences of leaders in plant-based nutrition, institutional menu redesign and implementation. Practical approaches will be offered to reduce environmental impacts, improve patient nutrition, and identify opportunities for cost savings. Participants will engage in an interactive activity to explore what steps can be taken towards supporting planetary health diets in their workplace.
