Speaker bios
Dr. Samantha Green is a family physician at Unity Health Toronto and Inner City Health Associates. She is Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and sits on the leadership table of the Collaborative Centre for Climate, Health, and Sustainable Care at U of T. She is the President of the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment.
Dr. Daniel Rosenbaum is a psychiatrist and Clinician Investigator at the University Health Network (UHN), where he works with the IMPACT Assertive Community Treatment team. He is also the psychiatrist with the Palliative Education and Care for the Homeless (PEACH) team through Inner City Health Associates. Daniel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. He is the co-author of the Canadian Psychiatric Association’s 2023 position statement entitled “Mental Health and the Climate Crisis: A Call to Action for Canadian Psychiatrists.”
Dr. Michaela Beder is a psychiatrist with St. Michael’s Hospital and Inner City Health Associates. Her work is focused on improving the system for, and providing care to, people who experience severe mental illness, homelessness, substance use, criminalization, and immigration related difficulties. She is the Director of Mental Health Inner City Health Associates, and an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto.
