We are excited to announce our second keynote speaker for the 2026 Climate & Health Conference: Deborah McGregor, PhD, MES. Dr. McGregor is Anishinabe from Whitefish River First Nation in Birch Island, Ontario, and is a professor and a Canada Excellence Research Chair in Indigenous Planetary Well-Being at the University of Calgary. Her keynote, “Indigenous Planetary Well-Being and Justice,” will speak to principles of living well based on Anishinaabe storytelling traditions to re-imagine a different relationship with the natural world for a just and sustainable future.
