We are excited to announce our lunchtime keynote speaker for the 2026 Climate & Health Conference: Andrea MacNeill, MD, MSc, FRCSC. Dr. MacNeill is a surgical oncologist at Vancouver General Hospital and BC Cancer, Clinical Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia, Founder of the UBC Planetary Healthcare Lab and Co-Chair of the Lancet Commission on Sustainable Healthcare. Her keynote, “Planetary Healthcare: A Global Challenge,” will draw on the work of the Lancet Commission on Sustainable Healthcare to explore how we achieve universal health coverage within planetary limits.
