Annalise Mathers is a Research Services and Knowledge Mobilization Specialist at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto. She manages the Centre for Practice Excellence, which is a knowledge mobilization centre dedicated to improving the healthcare system by fostering research that enhances patient care and improves patient outcomes. She specializes in mobilizing research and education knowledge through thoughtful event design, management, and communications expertise that connects policymakers, healthcare professionals, patients, and advocacy groups. With experience in project management, social entrepreneurship, and facilitation, she brings a “people first” approach to her work. Her international research expertise spans health care services, pharmacy practice, tobacco control, occupational health and safety, the Sustainable Development Goals/Millennium Development Goals, and more.
