Hamid Arzani

Hamid Arzani is a Ph.D. candidate in Operations Management and Statistics at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He holds a Master’s degree in Management Sciences from the University of Waterloo and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Hamid’s research interests are in operations research, optimization, and economics, with applications in healthcare and service operations. His work focuses on developing analytical frameworks to improve operational efficiency and promote fairness and equity, particularly in healthcare and other public systems. Hamid currently serves as the Student Councillor for the Canadian Operational Research Society (CORS) and as the President of the University of Toronto Operations Research Group (UTORG).
