Marilia D’Souza currently works as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Resource Team at both Toronto General and Toronto Western Hospitals. In this role, she provide high-quality care across a diversity of settings, supporting individuals with complex health needs. Marilia is also in her second year of the Masters of Nursing program in Health Systems Leadership and Administration. Her interests lie in the intersection of healthcare delivery and environmental sustainability. Marilia is particularly focused on the strategies to reduce the impact of climate change within the healthcare systems, exploring opportunities for innovation and leadership while promoting patient and community well-being.
