Aryan Sadeghi is a Master’s student in Artificial Intelligence in Health Systems at the University of Toronto, with a background in computer science from Sharif University of Technology and over nine years of experience as a software engineer and technical leader. His work sits at the intersection of data-intensive systems, health, and sustainability, drawing on expertise in cloud-native architectures, big data engineering, and real-time analytics.
Aryan’s research interests focus on using machine learning to understand and mitigate environmental and health risks, including projects on predicting black carbon from video data and modelling diabetes and depression among Canadian adults. He has contributed as both a researcher and reviewer in venues, such as IEEE EMBC, and has extensive experience leading cross-functional teams to design scalable, reliable platforms in finance, mobility, and IoT domains.
