Helena Teng is a first-year medical student at the University of Toronto and a graduate of its Master of Science in Sustainability Management program. She has experience advancing environmental sustainability in healthcare through research on sustainable supply chains, developing sustainable investing strategies for hospital foundations, and creating an environmental sustainability framework for North York General Hospital. Her interests include systems thinking, health systems transformation, impact measurement and management, and building climate-resilient, equitable healthcare.
