Sarah Levitt is a staff psychiatrist with the Centre for Mental Health at the University Health Network. She is interested in creating programs to support individual and population mental health in light of the climate crisis. To date, she has been involved in quality improvement projects to promote resilience for individuals experiencing severe mental illness during extreme heat events. She is also involved in a project with the Mental Health and Climate Change Alliance to create a national research network to advance climate change and mental health initiatives across Canada.
