Blake Poland is Associate Professor Emeritus, Dalla Lana School of Public Health, with cross appointments in Geography and OISE. His work focusses on community resilience in the face of ecological, social and economic disruption, sustainability transitions, social movements as agents of change, community development as an arena of practice for health and social care professionals, and prospects for radical social transformation. When he is not on his bicycle or customized PHEV car camper, he lives in a tiny house on wheels on an organic farm near Peterborough, Ontario.
