Dr. Ho is a staff anesthesiologist at North York General Hospital. She completed her residency training at the University of Toronto, followed by a regional anesthesia fellowship at St. Michael’s Hospital. Dr. Ho successfully completed the Certificate Course at the Centre for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (C-QuIPS) at the University of Toronto during her fellowship year.
Dr. Ho is passionate about applying quality improvement principles towards environmental sustainability and planetary health, pursuing initiatives that support a more circular economy. Key initiatives achieved include conversion from disposable to reusable circuit face masks, promotion of reusable anesthesia equipment use, and reduction in perioperative waste. She also collaborates with the Ontario’s Anesthesiologists Environmental Sustainability Working Group as the Circular Economy Subgroup lead, and with the Toronto Academic Health Science Network sustainability leads.
