About
Moi University School of Public Health (MUSPH) / Dalla Lana School of Public Health (DLSPH) Junior Faculty Development Program (JFD) invites expressions of interest from early and mid-career faculty, alongside Masters of Public Health students, to co-develop a compendium of educational case studies. This initiative seeks to integrate climate and environmental change concepts into public health curricula, fostering foundational learning in planetary health. We are seeking ten faculty members, five from DLSPH and five from MUSPH, to contribute to this program. Selected participants, will engage in a series of collaborative events aimed at advancing public health education through innovative case study development.

- Idea Incubator Event: In April 2025, the JFD program will host an incubator event to present ideas for case studies and pair MUSPH and DLSPH faculty into five teams. Two students will be part of each team
- Refinement of Case Studies & Case Development: Faculty and student teams will be paired and assigned one of the topics generated during the incubator event. Between May and November 2025, faculty-student teams will work to develop case studies.
- Two-Day Workshop: We will host a two-day hybrid workshop in fall 2025 at both institutions. Sessions will focus on building knowledge and skills.
