Margarita Lam Antoniades MD MScCH CCFP, is a family physician and palliative care physician at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. She is the patient safety lead for St. Micheal’s Hospital Academic Family Health Team. She is an assistant professor and the Quality Improvement Education Lead in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, (DFCM) University of Toronto. In this role she has led work on incorporating environmental sustainability into the family medicine residency quality improvement curriculum. She is a HUB member for the Climate, Health and Sustainable ECHO through the Centre for Climate, Health and Sustainable Care. She also has an interest in global health and is leading a team of DFCM faculty in co-facilitating a course in quality improvement for healthcare providers in Ghana through the Africa Health Collaborative.
