Dr. Stephen Hwang is a general internist and Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto. As the Director of MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions at Unity Health Toronto, he leads a team of scientists focused on program and policy interventions to advance health equity. Dr. Hwang’s research program focuses on interventions to end chronic homelessness and to improve the health of people experiencing homelessness.
