Lindsey Smith is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Toronto and holds a PhD in Medical Science from the University of Cambridge. Dr. Smith’s research focuses on how built and social environments can promote sustained healthy behaviours, social equity, and sustainable communities. Her work combines multi-disciplinary data, including GPS and qualitative data, to enhance understanding of relationships between urban form, mobility, and health, as well as pathways to behaviour change.
