Cristo Facundo Perez

Student Training Program 2025/2026

Cristo Facundo Perez is a research graduate focused on developing tools that help countries plan for climate change in shared river basins. His work connects water, energy, food, and health systems to support sustainable and resilient decision-making. He’s contributed to projects across Latin America, and more recently, helped design a planning framework for hydropower and irrigation in Sudan, within the Nile Basin.

Cristo collaborates with international organizations and academic institutions to build models, create decision-support tools, and lead training programs that strengthen local capacity. His goal is to support integrated planning that protects public health while meeting water, energy, and food needs.
