Rasgun is a Dental Public Health resident at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. As a dentist, she has long been interested in the connections between oral health, population health, and the social determinants of health. Her interests lie at the intersection of research and holistic health, guided by the belief that the mouth needs to be put back into the body.
She is also passionate about sustainability and is interested in exploring ways to make dentistry more environmentally sustainable. Beyond dentistry, Rasgun works with nonprofit organizations on initiatives related to resilience and eco-grief. Most recently, she organized an eco-spiritual workshop that brought together Indigenous ways of knowing and doing with youth climate activists, creating a space for reflection, connection, and resilience.
